Federal law limits
contributions by individuals to $2,100 per person per
election ($2100 for the primary and $2100 for the general
election) and prohibits contributions by corporations,
foreign nationals and government contractors.
Contributions are not deductible for federal tax purposes.
Oregon's Political Tax Credit allows you to contribute up
to $50 person or $100 per couple and receive a credit on
your state income taxes. This is not a charitable
donation.
